Manager – Human Resources

The above vacancy exists for a result-oriented and enterprising male candidate to head our HR department based at Wathupitiwala EPZ.

The ideal candidate should be able to manage

1. The overall HR functions in the organization.
2. Recruitment & selection.
3. Performance appraisals.
4. Employee retention, training and development.
5. Payroll functions, ETF & EPF, leave and attendance.
6. Grievances & staff welfare.
7. Disciplinary matters & disputes.
8. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies & practices across all HR functions in the group.
9. Liaise with labor department related duties & functions.
10. Maintain good employee/ industrial relations.

Desired candidate profile

1. A degree or diploma in HRM from a recognized organization.
2. 05 years of working experience in HR processes and procedures in a manufacturing facility.
3. Excellent command of English both written and oral.
4. Overall knowledge in HR functions including sourcing, recruitment, training and development, performance management, compensation.
5. Should be well conversant in labor laws and regulatory requirements applicable to HR process.
6. Fluency in MS Office packages and HR software.
7. Previous employment in an ISO or BRC certified food manufacturing company will be an added qualification.
8. Candidates from Nittambuwa, Veyangoda or from Gampaha district will be preferred.

About the company

We are a well-established BOI registered group of companies with foreign collaboration engaged in processing and export of seafood, fish and prawn farming and feed manufacturing, operating factories in Wathupitiwala EPZ and Meerigama and a fish/ prawn farm in Puttlam.
