Manager – Delivery Channels

Cargills Bank PLC is looking for qualified, high-performing individuals to join our IT department to lead the Delivery Channels section.
Job responsibilities
- Engage with business leaders and product owners to gather and clarify requirements
- Optimize SQL queries for maximum performance and efficiency
- Create detailed technical diagrams for system architecture and data flows
- Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Incorporate security best practices and conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to standards
- Manage prompt and effective support to management and users experiencing technical issues
Experience & qualifications
- A minimum of six (6) years of working experience is required, with at least three (3) years in a similar capacity, preferably within the banking or financial sector
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification in IT, software engineering, or a related discipline
- A master’s degree would be considered an additional advantage
- Extensive experience with payment switching systems, mobile and internet banking applications, ISO messaging standards, Lanka QR, JustPay and management of ATMs, CRMs, and kiosks
- Strong proficiency in SQL, monitoring tools, and comprehensive knowledge of Central Bank regulations related to digital payments and data privacy
- Technically proficient, governance-oriented, and familiar with risk, audit, and compliance functions
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
