Manager – Delivery Channels

Cargills Bank PLC is looking for qualified, high-performing individuals to join our IT department to lead the Delivery Channels section.

Job responsibilities

1. Engage with business leaders and product owners to gather and clarify requirements
2. Optimize SQL queries for maximum performance and efficiency
3. Create detailed technical diagrams for system architecture and data flows
4. Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
5. Incorporate security best practices and conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to standards
6. Manage prompt and effective support to management and users experiencing technical issues

Experience & qualifications

1. A minimum of six (6) years of working experience is required, with at least three (3) years in a similar capacity, preferably within the banking or financial sector
2. A degree or equivalent professional qualification in IT, software engineering, or a related discipline
3. A master’s degree would be considered an additional advantage
4. Extensive experience with payment switching systems, mobile and internet banking applications, ISO messaging standards, Lanka QR, JustPay and management of ATMs, CRMs, and kiosks
5. Strong proficiency in SQL, monitoring tools, and comprehensive knowledge of Central Bank regulations related to digital payments and data privacy
6. Technically proficient, governance-oriented, and familiar with risk, audit, and compliance functions
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
