Manager – Compliance

Are you a compliance champion driven by integrity? Join our Compliance Team and play a key role in ensuring the company consistently meets the highest regulatory and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and implement policies and procedures to eliminate or minimize regulatory compliance risks.
2. Promote awareness of compliance policies across the organization to strengthen the compliance culture.
3. Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance programs, including AML/CFT, data protection, and other regulatory requirements.
4. Conduct compliance testing and monitoring across branches and departments to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal controls.
5. Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
6. Support compliance training and awareness initiatives.
7. Stay informed of regulatory developments and assist business units in meeting regulatory obligations.
8. Assist the Senior Manager – Compliance in strengthening the company’s overall compliance framework.

Qualifications & experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, business administration, accounting, or a related field.
2. Professional qualification (ACCA / CA / CIMA / diploma in compliance) will be an added advantage.
3. 4-6 years’ experience in compliance, risk, internal audit, or regulatory affairs within a bank or licensed finance company.
4. Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and Sri Lankan financial regulatory frameworks.
5. Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
6. Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
