Locum OPD Doctor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum OPD Doctor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality outpatient care, ensure patient satisfaction, and uphold the highest standards of medical practice.

Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality outpatient medical consultations and treatments for patients visiting the OPD.
2. Diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and recommend appropriate investigations and treatment plans.
3. Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records, prescriptions, and clinical documentation.
4. Offer health education and preventive care advice to patients and their families.
5. Coordinate with nurses, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
6. Handle medical emergencies within the OPD setting and make referrals to specialists or hospitals when necessary.
7. Ensure compliance with medical ethics, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies.

Qualifications

1. MBBS from a recognized institution.
2. Full registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).
3. Previous experience in OPD or general medical practice will be an added advantage.
4. Excellent communication and patient management skills.

Salary
