Laboratory Technician

Qualifications

1. At least two years of experience in floriculture and fruit crop tissue culture production.
2. Pleasant personality with good communication skills.
3. Below 35 years of age.

Key responsibilities and attributes

1. Thorough understanding and experience in tissue culture media preparation processes.
2. Strong knowledge and experience in banana/horticulture tissue culture plant production protocols, including:
3. Transferring processes with different dissection protocols.
4. Induction processes.
5. Handling growth room cultures.
6. Other related processes in tissue culture protocols.
7. Competence in data management and record-keeping related to tissue culture processes.
8. Responsible for preparing media, autoclaving, and supplying culture jars for production and R&D under the guidance of management.
9. Responsible for executing inoculation processes for production and R&D under the guidance of management.
10. Ensure proper maintenance of the media preparation room, storerooms, transfer room, growth rooms, and other laboratory areas in compliance with hygiene, production, and laboratory protocols.
11. Support management in maintaining all record-keeping tasks in production and R&D.
12. Any other relevant tasks given by the Euroasia Agro (Pvt) Ltd.
