Junior HR Executive
About this role
As a junior executive payroll, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant management of payroll operations at Swisstek Aluminium. Using the HSENID system, you will oversee end-to-end payroll processing, statutory payments, and reporting, while maintaining the highest standards of governance and data integrity. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a sound understanding of Sri Lankan labour laws and statutory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters.
- Support domestic inquiries, warning letters, and misconduct documentation.
- Coordinate with line managers on attendance, absenteeism, and disciplinary issues.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards.
- Assist in policy implementation and HR audits.
- Assist appraisal cycles, KPI tracking, and employee development plans.
- Assist in employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Assist in business excellence projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HRM, business administration, or a diploma/higher national diploma in human resource management.
- Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience in HR.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labour laws.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
