IT Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced IT Scrum Master with a strong software development background to lead Agile delivery across digital banking initiatives. This role will support multiple Agile squads focused on mobile and web enhancements within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Role overview

You will champion Agile practices, remove impediments, and drive delivery across multiple squads while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

What you will do

1. Champion Agile methodologies and mindset by promoting iterative delivery, collaboration, and business value driven outcomes.
2. Remove impediments and drive delivery by proactively managing dependencies, applying critical thinking, and developing solutions to ongoing challenges.
3. Facilitate team alignment by guiding discussions, enabling decision making, setting goals, and resolving conflicts.
4. Support continuous improvement by fostering accountability, improving team productivity, and contributing to business analysis, user experience, and technical discussions.
5. Collaborate within a scaled Agile environment, working closely with other Scrum Masters and cross functional teams to deliver capabilities on digital platforms.
6. Communicate progress and outcomes transparently across stakeholders, including status updates, financial tracking, product demos, and retrospectives.
7. Manage multiple concurrent Agile initiatives in a dynamic and fast paced setting.

Must have

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with a strong track record of applying Agile principles and practices.
2. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Practitioner designation.
3. Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
4. Proven experience delivering medium to large scale projects in Agile environments.
5. Expertise in Agile techniques such as:
6. User stories
7. Burndown tracking
8. Acceptance test driven development (ATDD)
9. Continuous testing
10. Experience working within SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.
11. Strong prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Nice to have

1. Solid background in IT delivery, including software development or systems analysis.
2. Experience delivering complex web applications using Java, Spring boot, and Angular.
3. Familiarity with enterprise level Agile governance and project approval processes.
4. Knowledge of test automation tools and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce defects.

Additional requirements

1. Experience managing multiple Agile squads within digital or consumer banking environments.
2. Focus on delivering mobile and web based enhancements.
3. Strong leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
4. Experience in consumer banking is preferred, though broader banking experience is also considered.
5. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
