Qualifications

  1. Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Logistics or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in import/export, logistics, or customs clearance, preferably within the construction or luxury goods sectors.
  3. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
  4. Knowledge of international payment terms such as LC/TT and Incoterms will be an advantage.
  5. Excellent communication skills in both languages Sinhala & English.
  6. Hands on experience in MS Office package.
  7. Age below 30 years.

Requirements

  1. Maintain detailed records of imported goods, including invoices, shipping receipts, customs documents, shipment status, and any delays or issues.
  2. Support import executive by liaising with vendors, suppliers, and shipping agents to ensure smooth import operation.
  3. Manage customs/BOI documentation and ensure all goods meet import regulations, including tariffs, taxes, and duties.
  4. Timely import cost calculations, filing and labeling.
  5. Assist the Imports Manager and align with any other duties assigned by the Imports Manager.
  6. Visit Customs, banks, BOI when necessary.
