Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in import/export, logistics, or customs clearance, preferably within the construction or luxury goods sectors.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Knowledge of international payment terms such as LC/TT and Incoterms will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in both languages Sinhala & English.
- Hands on experience in MS Office package.
- Age below 30 years.
Requirements
- Maintain detailed records of imported goods, including invoices, shipping receipts, customs documents, shipment status, and any delays or issues.
- Support import executive by liaising with vendors, suppliers, and shipping agents to ensure smooth import operation.
- Manage customs/BOI documentation and ensure all goods meet import regulations, including tariffs, taxes, and duties.
- Timely import cost calculations, filing and labeling.
- Assist the Imports Manager and align with any other duties assigned by the Imports Manager.
- Visit Customs, banks, BOI when necessary.
