Application Support Engineer (PHP)

Responsibility

• Customize and configure the Hospital Health Information Management System (HHIMS) based on the requests of the hospitals
• Discuss and identify specific requirements of the users with the hospital staff and the ICTA project team and make necessary system configurations
• Engage in HHMS product maintenance activities in selected Government hospitals
• Ensure business continuity through proper software and database configurations
• Responsible to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for the reported incidents.
• Effectively communicate (escalate to Level 3) the software-related issues to the ICTA technology team
• Responsible to plan the work backlog based on the priority
• Create clear and concise Knowledge documents and ensure maintenance of the same
• Ensure close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirement

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent qualification related to the field from a recognized university/institution
• 2+ years of professional experience in software development
• 2+ years of experience with relational databases (MySQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL)
• Excellent knowledge in PHP, LAMP stack, and PHP frameworks like Codelgniter Web Framework
• In-depth knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Basic understanding of network engineering
• Experience with JAVA, AngularJS, and ReactJS is an added advantage
