HR Assistant

We are looking for a self-motivated and professional HR assistant with strong communication skills in English and Sinhala. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting HR operations, payroll, and administrative tasks while ensuring smooth day-to-day departmental functioning and adherence to company policies.

Key responsibilities

  1. Maintain and update employee records and attendance systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  2. Assist in payroll preparation by verifying attendance, leave records, and other essential employee data for timely, error-free processing.
  3. Support day-to-day HR operations, including responding to employee queries, coordinating engagement activities, and handling administrative tasks.
  4. Prepare, organize, and maintain HR reports, documentation, and correspondence in compliance with company policies.
  5. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and other HR initiatives to ensure smooth departmental operations and a positive employee experience.

Required skills & competencies

  1. Age: Candidates should be below 30 and preferably male.
  2. Background: Applicants should possess any foundational-level HR qualification from a recognized institute.
  3. Experience: Candidates should be proficient in MS Office and other common IT applications, and preference will be given to those residing near Battaramulla.
