About the company
Megakem Lanka (Private) Limited, a leading manufacturer and supplier of construction chemicals in Sri Lanka and a member of Wardena Venture Holdings, is seeking a dynamic, results-driven leader to head our sales function and drive sustainable business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Drive market expansion across hardware and construction sectors to strengthen the company’s market presence
- Expand and strengthen the hardware dealer network to enhance market coverage and drive sales growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and key client acquisition
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to consistently achieve revenue and growth targets
- Execute the overall sales strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and business goals
- Oversee sales forecasting, performance tracking, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights
Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in marketing, business management, or related field
- 7-10 years of experience, including senior-level sales leadership
- Technical knowledge of construction chemicals, paints, and waterproofing solutions will be considered a distinct advantage
- Proven track record in achieving revenue growth
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel
