Head of Quality Assurance

A day in the life of the role

1. Develop and implement quality assurance (QA) systems and procedures to ensure consistent product quality across all operations.
2. Manage regulatory affairs (RA) and ensure full compliance with applicable local and international standards.
3. Oversee all quality assurance and quality control functions, ensuring effective quality management across all operational scenarios.
4. Maintain factory hygiene standards to uphold food safety requirements.
5. Coordinate with suppliers and the procurement team to ensure that all incoming raw materials and packaging materials meet established quality standards.
6. Manage quality & non-quality costs.

What helps you succeed

1. A B.Sc in natural science or a related field would be an added advantage.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior quality assurance role within the FMCG sector preferably in food manufacturing.
3. Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
