1. You lead all motor engineering assessments – from inspections to repair approvals.
2. You guide complex and high-value claims with strong technical expertise.
3. You bring consistency across regions through standardised practices.
4. You drive cost control with smart benchmarking and repair strategies.
5. You ensure compliance with IRCSL regulations and local insurance frameworks.
6. You confidently manage disputes, regulatory queries, and legal escalations.
7. You detect and reduce fraud, inflated estimates, and claims leakage.
8. You build and lead a high-performing engineering team.

What you need:

1. Degree in mechanical / automobile engineering or equivalent.
2. 10+ years’ experience in motor engineering / claims.
3. 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
4. Strong experience in motor claims within the Sri Lankan insurance industry.
5. Professional insurance qualifications (e.g. CII) are an added advantage.
