About the company

Our client is a public listed company licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. They have now created an exceptional opportunity for a highly competent individual to join their team as;

Ideal candidate should be a seasoned professional to lead a team of legal officers while coordinating with external counsels on all legal aspects of the company.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide leadership for all litigation matters.
2. Coordinate effectively with external counsel.
3. Liaise and work closely with regulators.
4. Obtain writ notices from court registries in a timely manner.
5. Coordinate with outsourced writ officers to ensure prompt execution of writs.

Qualifications

1. Attorney-at-law with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
2. Proven experience in handling instructing work and managing legal matters.
3. Prior experience in a financial institution will be considered an advantage.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Fluent in English and Sinhala.
