Head of Field Operations – Mobility Aftermarket

Leads, develops and drives the Mobility Aftermarket (MA) business by delivering sustainable revenue growth, expanding market share, strengthening distribution networks and ensuring operational excellence aligned with organization’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

  1. Drive the growth and business strategy of Bosch Mobility Aftermarket (MA) in Sri Lanka.
  2. Achieve sales and revenue targets and increase market presence.
  3. Identify and develop new business opportunities, channels, and customer segments.
  4. Support sales activities across distributors, dealers, and key accounts.
  5. Drive primary, secondary, and tertiary sales for healthy market growth.
  6. Manage pricing, stock, and inventory to improve profitability.
  7. Expand and strengthen the distribution network and market coverage.
  8. Monitor sales performance, KPIs, forecasts, and business plans.
  9. Lead new product launches and go-to-market activities.
  10. Support digital initiatives and mechanic/workshop incentive programs.
  11. Build strong relationships with distributors, service partners, and internal teams.
  12. Coordinate with regional, global, and Bosch internal teams.
  13. Train and develop distributor teams in line with Bosch systems and processes.
  14. Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and governance.

What we are looking for

Experience

  1. 8+ years of automotive business experience.
  2. 5+ years in spare parts distribution / dealership in Sri Lanka.
  3. Strong exposure to Sri Lanka automotive aftermarket (diesel spares, lubricants, batteries, filters, workshops, starters/alternators, etc.).
  4. Experience working in matrix and cross-functional teams.
  5. Ability to work in fast-paced, complex, and growth markets.

Skills & competencies

  1. Result-driven go-getter with strong business and strategic acumen.
  2. Willing to spend up to 70% time in field sales and market development.
  3. Strong sales, distribution, and key account management skills.
  4. Excellent commercial, negotiation, and pricing skills.
  5. Strong analytical, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making ability.
  6. Experience in demand planning and inventory management.
  7. Strong leadership, stakeholder, and people management skills.
  8. Good knowledge of digital tools and innovative market initiatives.
  9. High level of integrity, professionalism, and adaptability.
  10. Strong communication and influencing skills (tri-lingual: English, Sinhala & Tamil).
  11. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
