Key responsibilities

1. Oversee overall financial controls and ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements.
2. Act as a strategic financial advisor to operations and marketing teams, providing insights to support informed business decisions.
3. Manage cash flow forecasting, funding arrangements, and capital allocation to ensure financial stability and growth.
4. Optimize working capital by effectively managing customer and supplier relationships, improving cash conversion and operational efficiency.

Candidate profile

1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry, or 3 years of experience in an audit firm.
2. Degree in accounting/finance or part-qualified in CA / ACCA or CIMA Sri Lanka.
3. Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with IFS is preferred.
4. Previous experience in India or another overseas location will added advantage.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Tamil would be considered an added advantage.
