Fashion buyer

Responsibilities

1. Manage end-to-end buying and merchandising for footwear, leather goods, and apparel.
2. Create seasonal product ranges aligned with brand identity and commercial goals.
3. Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
4. Prepare and manage purchase orders through ERP/system.
5. Coordinate inventory transfers and maintain accurate stock records.
6. Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to ensure product alignment.
7. Track trends, market demand, and competitor activity to inform buying decisions.
8. Review samples, approve products, and ensure quality standards.

Qualifications

1. 3-5 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or product coordination.
2. Should have prior experience working in the retail industry.
3. Knowledge of fashion, footwear, leather goods, and apparel categories.
4. Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
5. Strong commercial awareness with a creative eye for trends.
6. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability.
