Factory manager – pet food production

Blue Line Gastronomic Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and experienced Factory Manager to oversee the operations of our Pet Food Production Facility in Sri Lanka, including the canning section.

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee daily factory operations and production processes
2. Manage and supervise the canning section, dry food section and overall manufacturing activities
3. Ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are achieved
4. Lead and motivate factory staff while maintaining discipline and productivity
5. Coordinate project management activities and ensure timely completion
6. Handle dynamic operational situations effectively
7. Maintain smooth functioning of production machinery and technical operation
8. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards

Candidate profile

1. Minimum 5 years of working experience in a manufacturing industry
2. Male candidate below 50 years of age
3. Strong self-leadership and decision-making abilities
4. Proven project management and execution skills
5. Good Human Resource Management (HRM) capabilities
6. General technical knowledge of production machinery
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
8. Ability to work under pressure and manage dynamic situations
