Experienced senior bookkeeper / accountant
About the role

- Will suit someone with previous business services experience working with an Australian-based accountancy firm or client, and is proficient in the English language.
Main responsibilities
- You need to have an excellent skill level in Xero software and be well versed in accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, payroll, BAS, STP.
- A solid understanding of bookkeeping concepts and the Australian tax system is a must.
- You must be able to work within budgeted time, possess attention to detail and have an outstanding work ethic.
To be considered for this role you ideally should have
- 5 + years’ experience in a similar role.
- A strong academic record with progress towards CA, CPA, or ACCA accreditation.
- Genuine passion for accounting with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated success in handling Australian compliance and issues.
- A self-starter who can work alone or part of a team.
