We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and customer-centric professional to join our claims division as a senior executive / assistant manager – motor claims. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end motor claims process, ensuring efficient service delivery, accurate assessments, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  1. Involve in the full lifecycle of motor claims from intimation to settlement.
  2. Review and validate claim documents, inspection reports, and repair estimates.
  3. Coordinate with assessors, garages, and internal teams to ensure timely processing.
  4. Have an eye to evaluate and detect fraud, leakage, or anomalies in claims.
  5. Negotiate with service providers to maintain cost efficiency and service standards.
  6. Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide prompt updates on claim status.
  7. Ability to prepare MIS reports, trend analyses, and recommendations for process improvements.
  8. Ensure claims are processed in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Job specifications

  1. Qualifications & experience
  2. Minimum 4–7 years of experience in motor claims handling within the insurance sector.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of motor vehicles, repair procedures, and claims assessment.
  4. Professional qualifications in insurance (e.g., SLII, III, or similar) are an added advantage.
  5. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  6. Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  7. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
