Executive – Risk and Control

Responsibilities

1. The risk & control executive is responsible for identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating risks that could impact the organization’s operations, financial, reputation, and objectives.
2. Periodically assess and identify the business and operations risk across the company.
3. Treat the risk in all business functions, internal and external.
4. Identify and evaluate operational, financial, and compliance risks across departments.
5. Develop and implement risk management frameworks and methodologies.
6. Develop and maintain documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk registers.
7. Maintain the corporate commercial SOP’s and continue to create SOP for changing business needs.
8. Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess the adequacy of controls.
9. Design, implement, and maintain internal control processes to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
10. Prepare risk and control reports for senior management and stakeholders.
11. Drive values, KPI’s & 5s.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
2. Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CRM, CIA, or similar qualifications are advantageous.
3. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or external audit firm roles.
4. Experience in internal audit or finance within the manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.
5. Familiarity with data analysis tools and risk assessment tools are advantageous.
