Executive | Junior Executive – Finance

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Executive / Junior Executive – Finance to join the finance team at NMK Group. The selected candidate will support day to day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records and assist in the smooth functioning of the company’s financial activities. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their career in finance, with opportunities to gain hands on experience in accounting, reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
2. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
3. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
4. Assist in maintaining general ledger entries and supporting schedules.
5. Perform bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
6. Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
7. Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
8. Provide support during internal and external audits.
9. Maintain proper documentation and ensure financial records are up to date.
10. Carry out any other finance related duties as assigned.

Knowledge & skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
2. Professional qualification or part qualification in CA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
3. Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
4. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
6. Good analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
9. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
