Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to support our engineering and operations team. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring efficient performance and safety while contributing to technical improvements and innovation.

Job profile

1. Install, wire, and maintain solar PV systems (inverters, panels, DBs, cabling).
2. Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and fault finding.
3. Support site engineers during installation and commissioning.
4. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
5. Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections.
6. Maintain tools, equipment, and proper documentation.

Applicant’s profile

1. NVQ / Diploma in electrical or related field.
2. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
3. Knowledge of solar PV systems is an added advantage.
4. Ability to read electrical diagrams and wiring schematics.
5. Hands-on experience with electrical tools and testing equipment is an added advantage.
6. Strong teamwork and practical problem-solving skills.
7. Willingness to travel to project sites.
