Cyber Security Analyst

Job profile

1. Conduct comprehensive security assessments to identify vulnerabilities across networks, applications, cloud environments, and identity systems.
2. Perform threat and vulnerability analysis to proactively detect and mitigate potential security risks.
3. Carry out penetration testing to simulate real-world cyber attacks and evaluate system defenses.
4. Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
5. Prepare compliance and risk reports aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Support 24/7 security monitoring and provide insights on emerging cyber threats.

Candidate profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in cyber security or a related field (information security, computer science, IT security).
2. Minimum 1 year of experience as a security analyst or in a similar cyber security role.
3. Knowledge of SIEM tools, firewalls, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanning tools.
4. Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
6. Hands-on experience with identity and access management (IAM) tools and access management processes will be an added advantage.
