We are seeking a customer-focused and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while promoting the company’s products and services.
Key responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and escalate complex matters when necessary.
- Maintain customer records and update information in the system.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Identify customer needs and suggest suitable solutions.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer service.
- Achieve individual and team targets related to customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- G.C.E. A/L qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customer service or a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills in Sinhala and English (Tamil is an advantage).
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations and work under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic computer skills.
- Experience in using CRM or helpdesk systems will be an added advantage.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.
