Job summary

The customer coordinator will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service and support through our call center operations. This position requires a proactive individual with a customer-first mindset who can professionally handle inbound and outbound calls, ensure efficient issue resolution, and maintain high standards of service excellence.

Main job functions

  1. Call center support: Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  2. Customer assistance: Provide accurate and timely information about products, services, and company policies.
  3. Issue resolution: Identify customer concerns, troubleshoot problems systematically, and escalate complex cases when necessary.
  4. Data entry & record-keeping: Maintain and update detailed records of customer interactions in the system for accurate tracking and follow-up.
  5. Follow-up & feedback: Ensure all customer queries are successfully resolved and proactively collect feedback to improve overall service quality.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to enhance the customer experience and streamline operational processes.

Candidate requirements

  1. Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience in customer service or call center operations is preferred.
  2. Communication: Excellent communication skills in English & Sinhala (knowledge of Tamil will be a distinct advantage).
  3. Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with call center software.
  4. Core abilities: Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple calls while managing time efficiently.
  5. Attributes: A positive attitude, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
