Cost controller | cost control assistant

A reputed organization in the hospitality / FMCG / retail sector is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced cost controller to join our team.

Key responsibilities

1. Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs
2. Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports
3. Verify purchase prices, invoices, GRNs, and stock issues
4. Conduct regular stock takes and investigate variances
5. Implement cost control procedures and internal controls
6. Work closely with purchasing, stores, kitchen, and finance teams
7. Prepare cost analysis reports and recommendations for management

Requirements

1. Degree / diploma in accounting, finance, or cost management
2. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a cost controller (hospitality experience preferred)
3. Strong knowledge of inventory control and costing systems
4. Excellent analytical and numerical skills
5. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
6. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
7. Having experience in the restaurant field will be considered an added advantage.
