Consultant – Marine Service

Sisili Hanaro Encare is an environmental engineering company and leader in clinical waste management in Sri Lanka, where our services are much needed. Your role will involve

1. Supporting ship chandling and marine service operations to ensure smooth day-to-day execution
2. Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the growth of marine services
3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with shipping agents, vessel operators, and key clients
4. Coordinating with port authorities, suppliers, and internal teams for efficient service delivery
5. Managing operational and regulatory documentation, including service records and compliance requirements
6. Handling billing, payments, and maintaining accurate financial and operational records
7. Providing on-site support during port operations, inspections, and client interactions

Requirements

1. 5+ years previous experience in ship chandling, logistics operations, port related activities, marine services, or operational coordination will be considered an advantage
2. Good communication skills with shipping agents and port-based institutes
3. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, maritime studies, environmental management, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
