Working at Dutch hospital food court.
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Shift breakdown:
- 3:00 – 4:00 PM — Prep
- 4:00 – 10:00 PM — Service
- 10:00 – 11:00 PM — Cleaning
Responsibilities
- Prep and portion chicken wings and thick-cut fries before service begins.
- Operate the fryer safely and consistently throughout service.
- Sauce wings to order — BBQ, peri peri, or plain — with the correct coat every time.
- Maintain mise en place: sauces, seasoning, and fry stock must never run low mid-service.
- Monitor oil temperature and fry times to ensure consistency.
- Work the pass cleanly — no cold food, no soggy fries, no wrong orders.
- Keep the station clean throughout service, not only at close.
- Complete full close-down by 11:00 PM: surfaces, fryer, utensils, and storage.
- Flag low stock before the next shift.
Requirements
- Prior kitchen experience, preferably in a fast-service setting.
- Comfortable operating a fryer under volume.
- Basic food safety knowledge. Certification is a plus.
- Available for evening shifts including weekends and public holidays.
