Job profile

  1. Oversee daily kitchen operations in the industry placement kitchen
  2. Supervise and guide culinary students during their practical training
  3. Ensure food quality, consistency, and professional presentation standards
  4. Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards
  5. Support students in developing industry-level skills and discipline
  6. Coordinate with academic staff regarding student performance and training requirements

Candidate profile

  1. Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a chef in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or catering organization.
  2. Diploma/degree in commercial cookery, or related field
  3. Prior experience in culinary education or student mentoring is a must
  4. A passion for teaching and developing culinary talents in youngsters.
  5. Strong leadership and communication skills
  6. Ability to work full-time and manage kitchen operations independently
