Job profile

1. Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales growth within the FMCG sector for allocated categories.
2. Identify and secure new business opportunities, distribution channels, and market segments.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts.
4. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
5. Coordinate with brand teams to ensure timely execution of focus brands.
6. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
7. Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure profitable business partnerships.
8. Prepare sales forecasts, market reports, and performance analyses for senior management.
9. Lead initiatives to improve market penetration, customer retention, and brand visibility.
10. Ensure achievement of sales targets and revenue objectives in line with company goals.

Personality profile

1. Strong understanding of FMCG markets, distribution channels, and retail operations.
2. Proven ability to develop business strategies and deliver revenue growth.
3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
5. Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
6. Minimum 10 years’ experience in business development or sales management, preferably in the FMCG / food industry.
7. Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional business initiatives.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
