We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as assistant sales manager – solar.
Key responsibilities
- Support the sales manager in achieving sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Assist in managing and motivating the solar sales team.
- Identify potential customers and new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and product presentations.
- Coordinate with technical and operational teams for smooth project execution.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.
- Support marketing and promotional activities related to solar solutions.
Qualifications and skills
- Diploma or degree in sales, marketing, business management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, out of which at least 3 years of mandatory experience should be in solar or renewable energy sector.
- Good understanding of solar energy products and services.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. (Proficiency in Sinhala, English, and Tamil will be an added advantage).
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Possession of a valid driving license is mandatory.
- Immediate availability and ability to join upon selection will be an added advantage.
