Key responsibilities

1. Assist the head of transport & logistics in planning, directing, and managing the overall transportation facility and vehicle fleet.
2. Oversee fleet maintenance and technical health, leveraging mechanical expertise to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
3. Ensure transportation services meet the operational needs of the business and internal users.
4. Support the achievement of optimal service delivery through efficient transport planning and coordination.
5. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance transportation efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Contribute to cost control and technical cost-effectiveness within the transport and maintenance functions.
7. Handle people management and departmental administrative responsibilities related to transport operations.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics operations, or mechanical engineering from a recognized institution/university.
2. A diploma in automobile engineering or a related technical field is highly advantageous.
3. Minimum of 8 years of overall experience in transportation & logistics, with proven experience in fleet maintenance or automobile engineering.
