Assistant manager quality assurance

The individual will be responsible to make sure that the entire production process exceeds the expectation of customer’s quality standard while achieving internal key performance indicators that secure a sustainable manufacturing standard.

Key responsibilities

1. Ensure that you achieve quality performance in each stage of operation with the right quality meeting scheduled delivery time line.
2. Meet customer product quality requirements through process control, procedural settings, data analysis such as process capability analysis.
3. Ensure 6 S, product safety, health and safety, CTPAT, discipline as well as quality system requirements are always met in the operation.
4. Ensure that you develop and train under staff to meet skill requirements where required.
5. Ensure you maintain a friendly work setting that everyone work happy in the work place with less attrition.
6. Ensure your under staff always work in line with the company policies and procedures set to achieve sustainable standards.

Key job specifications

1. Degree/diploma in quality management / textile technology from a recognized institute.
2. Experienced in quality assurance operations supporting internationally reputed brands such as Nike, Victoria’s Secret (VS) and Tesco, ensuring compliance with required quality standards.
3. Very systematic/analytical approach to problem.
4. Passionate about customer satisfaction.
5. Strong process orientation.
6. Excellent human relation and motivation skills.
7. Knowledge and experience of working with lean tools.
8. Exposure to the latest quality assurance processes and systems.
9. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial capacity.
