Assistant Lecturer – Quantity Surveying & Construction

Educational qualifications

1. A bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, construction management, commercial management, or a closely related discipline.

Experience

1. Fresh graduates and candidates with an interest in starting a career in academia are strongly encouraged to apply.
2. Prior teaching or academic exposure (e.g., tutoring, demonstrating, or research support) will be an added advantage.
3. Exposure to the Pearson BTEC HND and City & Guilds qualifications will be considered a plus, but is not mandatory.

Skills and competencies

1. Strong interest in academic teaching and research supervision.
2. Ability to deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions (training will be provided where necessary).
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Willingness to support a collaborative, student-centred learning environment.
5. Willingness to work on weekends, with two weekdays off.
