Our client, a pioneering organization in the agriculture industry recognized for innovation and sustainable growth. They seek for a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead fertilizer sales and marketing function in the capacity of assistant general manager – sales & marketing (fertilizer).

What you will lead

  1. Develop and execute overall sales and marketing strategies for the fertilizer business.
  2. Lead and manage regional sales teams to achieve revenue and volume targets.
  3. Drive market penetration and expand distribution networks island wide.
  4. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including distributors, dealers, and large-scale farmers.
  5. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to guide business decisions.
  6. Plan and implement marketing campaigns, field promotions, and agronomy-based initiatives.
  7. Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
  8. Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations.
  9. Mentor and develop the sales team to build leadership pipeline.

What you will bring

  1. Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, agriculture, agribusiness, or a related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
  2. Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales leadership role.
  3. Strong understanding of the agriculture sector and crop nutrition.
  4. Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
