Assistant general manager (FMCG)

The Assistant general manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the manufacturing factory at Maharaja Foods PLC – Wattala. This includes production planning, quality assurance, workforce management, labour management, cost control, and compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in distribution and export operations.
3. Proficiency in ERP systems and related business processes.
4. Strong knowledge and practical experience in handling export operations and documentation.
5. Sound understanding of production processes, quality control procedures, and safety standards.
6. Excellent leadership, coordination, and operational management skills.
