Assistant Accountant – Male (Papua New Guinea)

We are looking for an experienced assistant accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong English communication skills and solid experience in a similar role.

Key responsibilities

1. Maintain and manage daily financial transactions and bookkeeping.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
3. Ensure accuracy of ledgers, trial balance, and reconciliations.
4. Handle accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.
5. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tax preparation.
6. Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
7. Coordinate with management for financial planning.

Requirements

1. Experience: 3–5 years in a similar accounting role.
2. Qualification: AAT qualified / chartered intermediate level.
3. English proficiency: Strong written and spoken English.
4. Age: 30 – 35 years.

Benefits

1. Salary: 250,000.00 LKR.

4. Contract period: 4 years.
5. The company will provide return tickets upon the completion of a 2-year contract.
6. Contract: Renewable based on performance and work conduct.
