Assistant Accountant | Accounts Executive

We are a well-established company engaged in mini hydro power projects in Sri Lanka. We invite applications from suitable candidates for the below position existing at our company.

Assistant accountant

Qualifications & skills

1. Following corporate level exam of CA Sri Lanka
2. Minimum 6-7 years of experience in accounting. 02 years audit experience will be considered an added advantage.
3. Excellent knowledge of MS office package
4. Good knowledge of SLFRS would be an added advantage
5. Experience working in an ERP environment will be an added advantage
6. Excellent command of English with written and verbal communication skills

Duties & responsibilities

1. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports accurately and on time in compliance with SLFRS
2. Maintain and monitor cash flow, including financial forecasting
3. Preparation of annual budget
4. Preparation of cheque payments to creditors
5. Preparation of bank & other monthly reconciliations
6. Providing information for annual audit
7. Attend to company tax matters

Accounts executive

Qualifications & skills

1. Following business level exam of CA Sri Lanka
2. Minimum 03-04 years of experience in accounting. Audit experience will be considered an added advantage
3. Excellent knowledge of MS office package
4. Good knowledge of SLFRS would be an added advantage
5. Good analytical skills
6. Excellent command of English with written and verbal communication skills
