Job responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of application data models, schemes, and underlying data structures.
2. Support business and technology teams in data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
3. Work closely with data analytics and MIS teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
4. Assist in identifying data quality issues and coordinate with vendors or internal teams to remediate them.
5. Act as the first point of contact for application-related incidents, service requests, and user queries.
6. Perform initial trial, analysis, and resolution, escalating to vendors or higher support levels as required.
7. Monitor application health, availability, batch jobs, and interfaces to ensure agreed SLAs are met.
8. Maintain application documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

Person specifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in business management, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
2. Proven experience in application support, business analysis, and IT operations management, preferably in the financial services industry.
3. Strong understanding of IT applications and technologies, with the ability to bridge technical concepts with business objectives.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
6. Strong attention to detail, especially in data validation and reporting.
