Administrative Officer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented administrative officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, tech-savvy, and interested in working in a corporate and legal environment, particularly with company secretarial and trademark-related responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  1. Assisting with the use of the eROC dashboards for statutory filings and maintaining corporate compliance records.
  2. Providing administrative support for company secretarial functions, including maintaining company registers and preparing standard forms and filings.
  3. Coordinating and organising trademark-related documentation, renewals, and correspondence with the national intellectual property office.
  4. Managing client files, databases, and tracking deadlines for renewals, filings, and appointments.
  5. Assisting in the preparation and formatting of correspondence, contracts, and documents under the guidance of senior staff.
  6. Liaising with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders for document submissions and information gathering.
  7. Supporting the development and coordination of new administrative processes and client engagement strategies.
  8. Supporting social media communications and digital engagement initiatives.

Qualifications and skills

  1. A diploma or degree in business administration, management, law or a related field is preferred.
  2. Prior experience in a professional office setting is an advantage.
  3. Familiarity with the companies act or eROC filings will be a strong plus (training will be provided).
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and strong general computer skills.
  6. High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  7. A positive attitude and the ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.
  8. Experience in social media management is an added advantage.
