Vella Adventures (Pvt) Ltd, a world-renowned adventure park located in the iconic destination of Ella, Sri Lanka, is seeking a motivated and dynamic Admin Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you will manage daily administrative and operational tasks, maintain records, coordinate with operations, safety and other supporting teams, assist in procurement and SOP implementation, and support site-level activities and events, all while upholding high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily administrative coordination of adventure park operations.
  2. Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation.
  3. Coordinate closely with operations, safety and all supporting teams for smooth daily functioning.
  4. Manage inventory related to adventure activities (ex: gear tracking, operational supplies).
  5. Assist in coordinating on-site logistical arrangements.
  6. Support planning and execution of guest events, seasonal activities, and special programs.
  7. Work closely with the safety team to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
  8. Assist in developing and updating SOPs related to adventure activities (ex: zipline, skywalk, swing operations).
  9. Coordinate procurement of operational items, including safety gear, tools, and consumables, while liaising with vendors.
  10. Monitor and follow up on maintenance-related requirements with relevant teams.
  11. Maintain proper records of purchases, vendor communications, and site requirements.

Professional qualifications and experience

  1. Age between 25 and 35 years (both male and female candidates are welcome to apply).
  2. Diploma/ degree in business administration or a related field.
  3. 1-2 years of experience in administration or operations (experience in adventure tourism or hospitality is a strong advantage).
  4. Strong organizational and coordination skills in a fast-moving environment.
  5. Ability to handle site-based operational challenges efficiently.
  6. Good communication skills in English & Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage).
  7. Basic knowledge of safety practices and operational procedures is a plus.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office and reporting.
  9. High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
