Accounts Executive

We are recruiting an experienced and detail-oriented accountant to join our fast-growing quick service restaurant in Colombo. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who can independently manage accounting functions while contributing to the success of an emerging food outlet.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
2. Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
3. Handle month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
4. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
5. Process payroll, staff payments, and expense claims.
6. Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities.
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
8. Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and internal departments when required.
9. Provide financial insights and support to senior management.

Qualifications

1. AAT qualified (full or part qualification completed).
2. Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.
3. Work experience in the F&B industry will be an added advantage.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
5. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
6. Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
7. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
