Accounts Assistant

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in maintaining accounting records and books of accounts
  2. Prepare invoices, vouchers, and payment documents
  3. Handle petty cash and bank reconciliations
  4. Support monthly and year-end financial reporting
  5. Maintain proper filing of financial documents
  6. Assist with audits and other accounting-related tasks as required

Qualifications

  1. Diploma or qualification in accounting / finance (partly or fully completed)
  2. Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role (preferred)
  3. Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  4. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  5. Good attention to detail and organizational skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Candidates living in Ragama or within a reasonable commuting distance will have an added advantage
