Accounts Assistant

Key responsibilities

  1. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
  2. Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
  3. Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
  4. Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
  5. Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
  6. Support the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
  7. Handle administrative tasks related to accounting, such as filing and document management.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience as an account assistant or similar role.
  2. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  3. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
