Accountant | Accounts Executive

Accountant

Responsibilities:

1. Involved in all accounting operations, including A/R, A/P & GL, and maintain a full set of accounts with accurate financial records.
2. Prepare financial statements, budgets, & financial reports.
3. Ensure compliance with tax laws, standards, & accounting regulations.
4. Recommend improvements to financial processes & internal controls.
5. Support implementation of new finance systems or procedures.
6. Ensure quality control over financial transactions & financial reporting.
7. Manage company tax matters and act as the company representative to the Inland Revenue Department.

Qualifications:

1. Candidate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. Fully qualified in a professional accounting body (e.g. CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent).
3. Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting or finance.
4. Prior experience in a corporate accounting environment is preferred.
5. Experience handling audits, taxation, and statutory reporting.
6. Strong knowledge of accounting standards & financial regulations.
7. Proficiency in accounting software & MS Excel.
8. High attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Account executive

Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions.
2. Maintain proper documentation of financial records.
3. Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, & supplier payments.
4. Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and daily reports.
5. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow and petty cash.
6. Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
7. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, taxes, & company policies.
8. Work closely with operations to ensure financial accuracy.

Qualifications:

1. Candidate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. Fully or partially qualified in a professional accounting body (e.g. CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent).
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
