Accountant

We are a leading company in the cargo and logistics sector in Sri Lanka, providing end-to-end freight forwarding and warehousing solutions to both local and international clients. We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and energetic individual to join our dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
2. Handle company accounts, cash flow, and budgeting
3. Monitor daily accounting operations
4. Coordinate with auditors and management
5. Ensure compliance with company financial procedures

Requirements

1. Age between 40 – 55 years
2. Minimum 5 years overseas experience in accounting/finance
3. Professional qualification in accounting (AAT/CIMA/ACCA/CA preferred)
4. Sound knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting
5. Experience in handling payroll, taxation, banking, and audits
6. Good communication and leadership skills
7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
