Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements and MIS reports related to manufacturing and export operations.
- Monitor production costing, inventory movements and stock reconciliation for coconut-based products.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to support management decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cost control activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and export-related financial procedures.
- Handle supplier payments, customer reconciliations and banking transactions efficiently.
- Coordinate with production, stores, procurement and export departments to improve financial and operational processes.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and assist in audit-related documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports and other management information.
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting / finance or part qualification in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in manufacturing organization will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of costing, inventory control, and ERP/accounting systems.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Candidates residing near Kuliyapitiya will be given preference.
