Accountant

We are a leading importer and retailer of Japanese motor spear parts and we are looking for a suitable candidate to fulfill the vacant position of accountant at Dambulla.

Key responsibilities

1. Should be responsible for the accounts department operation.
2. Should be able to prepare management accounts and various reports.
3. Should be able to deal with banks, IRD with RAMSI system and other third parties.
4. Should be able to manage cash flow, account receivable and payable.
5. Should report to Board of Directors, CEO, Financial Secretary and Group Accountant.

Candidate profile

1. Male candidate preferred.
2. Age should be above 35.
3. Should be graduated or intermediate qualified of CA Sri Lanka or equivalent.
4. Should have more than 7 years of experience including 3 years of post-qualifying experience as an accountant.
5. 3 years’ experience of a reputed audit firm will be an advantage.
6. Should have a sound knowledge of accounting and taxation.
7. Good knowledge of Quick Book package.
