Job responsibilities

  1. Oversee hotel operational accounting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Provide timely and precise monthly financial statements and management reports, both routine and ad hoc.
  3. Effectively manage treasury operations to minimize financial costs for the company.
  4. Administer fixed assets management and ensure comprehensive insurance coverage for all assets.
  5. Ensure timely invoicing and prompt collection of receivables; negotiate pricing and improved credit terms with suppliers.
  6. Guarantee the timely payment of all statutory obligations, including levies, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and filing requirements.
  7. Manage the annual budget process and coordinate external audits, ensuring timely completion.
  8. Maintain a strong internal control system to safeguard company assets.

Job requirements

  1. Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in similar capacity preferably in the same industry.
  2. Professional full / part qualification in finance / accounting (AAT / CIMA / Chartered)
  3. Should be well competent on all forms of communication in English
  4. Ability to multi-task and work independently
  5. Flexibility to travel to different locations around the country
  6. Knowledge in accounting systems (Scienteer, QB etc.)
  7. Proficiency in MS Office 365 package
